Kylie showed up in Shanghai to launch her new swimwear line for H&M. I think she looks fucking gorgeous. Kylie is also going to be featured in the ads for her new line. It so good to see her come out the other side of her battle with cancer.
DC has released Michael Turner's cover for JLofA #8, the first part of the JLA/JSA/LSH crossover. I looks like the final panel of JLofA #7 was right and Karate Kid will be showing up. For you non comic fans Karate Kid has nothing to do with the Ralph Macchio movie Karate Kid, Well I guess they both do karate. That's definitely not the Karate Kid costume from Waid's current run, so it's really looking like this might actually be the pre-crisis Legion. One of the notable things about the pre-crisis Karate Kid is that he had his own series that took place in the 20th century.
Poor Davis got punched by superdrunk CT on the premiere episode of MTV's RW/RR Challenge: Inferno III. I was completely bummed by the underlying homophobia of the whole situation. I still think Davis looks adorable even with a black eye. You can read Davis' account of the incident on his Inferno Blog.

That's too bad CT's such a tool. He's drop dead gorgeous and I'll miss seeing his shirtless god body on the show now.

The funny thing is CT is my cousin!! & I know he would NEVER punch a guy for being homosexual cuz he is NOT homophobic!! He wouldnt be close with me if he wasnt!!

Turner's work is so uneven for me -- and I have such a love/hate relationship with him. Some of his art in the Soulfire series is stunning -- and Benoit from that series (I believe that's the name) the big, beautiful, black, superstar stud/hero, is fantastic.
But Turner's HORRIBLE Supergirl costume, and over-the-top depiction of her skinnyass... or the above, with Karate Kid... I mean, look at KK's jaw/neck/head thing -- what is going on there? No one hits a home run every time, but... anyway, his Batman is always fantastic. Thanks, Dudetube!

Did Turner draw those Batman/Karate Kid images? That is one skinny neck on Karate Kid! But yeah, these are definitely the late 70s early 80s costumes of the Legion. I think Mike Grell designed that one. Ah, the old Legion days.... they were so hot for a geek like me... I wonder if Cosmic Boy will have his bustier outfit on? I loved how daring that thing was for the time...
