This week's selection from the Vintage Vault is 1983's Bordello Studs. The magazine features still from the film Gold Rush Boys starring Mike Braun & Kurt Williams. I'm a huge fan of that cheesy cover and Mike's fur, although $15 must have seemed like a lot to pay for a magazine 30 years ago (if not today). All of these images are courtesy of Retromen Plus which you can join via their Yahoo Group & Google Group (which includes archived messages).

mrbill, you're not alone! But it was worth it or so we thought at the time, besides, that's all there was. In some states owning it was a criminal act. Times have changed! Times have changed! Pre-Stonewall was the Dark Ages! Antediluvian!

Way before there was an internet, there were skin magazines like In Touch, Playguy, Honcho, etc. I wish I had all the money back I paid for these, but I guess it was worth it to see all the beautiful boys over the years. Even the non-hardcore versions sold for $5 or $6, so I pissed away a lot of cash on these things.
