One of the highlights of my last trip to New York City was a visit to the High Line. It's a park with great views of the city and the Hudson River built on a converted elevated train track. One of the most impressive features is that the Standard Hotel is literally built over the park. When the hotel first opened there was a lot of press about park visitors catching peeks of the hotel guests in their windows.
