Life as a comic book fan can be rough. Life gets even harder when a perfect storm of shipping holidays conspires to create a week without comics. There will be no new comics next Wednesday (besides Blackest Night #6) so this week is a pretty big shipping week. Two of my favorite series Uncanny X-Men & New Avengers have new issues out today. Greg Rucka & JH Williams conclude their historic Batwoman run on Detective Comics with today's issue #860. The pair will reteam on a Batwoman solo title in 2010. Also out today are new issues of Secret Warriors, Teen Titans, Blackest Night: JSA, Powers and What If?:Astonishing X-Men starring Jean Grey. Check back next week for my favorite comics of 2009.
