A religious group is all worked up over a Barbie based on the DC Comics character Black Canary. Apparently Dinah Lance's trademark leather and fishnets is just too much. “Barbie has always been on the tarty side and this is taking it too far. A children’s doll in sexually suggestive clothing is irresponsible – it’s filth.� Black Canary wore a similar version of her costume during her first appearance in 1947.

Alrighty....so the same religious group kept quiet while both versions of BC have been wearing the costume for the same 50+ years, and when she was on episodes of JLU? If I was responsible for offical communication from Barbie, I would tell the losers to look at the original Barbie cuz she wore much less! These religious nuts probably don't even let the kids have Barbies so F em.
