Yesterday I was so excited to come home and find my copy of Broadway Bares: Backstage Pass. The book chronicles the Broaway Bares event which benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. The event was created by the amazing Jerry Mitchell in 1992 and has grown into a huge showcase for the hottest broadway stars. The book is filled with lots of studio stills used in promoting the event along with tons of behind the scenes & performance shots. All the proceeds benefit BC/EFA so you can get a superhot photo book and support a good cause.

The new animated film Batman Gotham Knight hits stores today. The film tells six stories illustrated by some of Japan's greatest anime visionaries. A bunch of comic creators contributed to the script including Greg Rucka, Brian Azzarello, Alan Burnett & David Goyer.
FX has a pretty good record with their original sereis such as Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, Damages, The Riches & It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. This September Sons of Anarchy premieres starring Charlie Hunnam and Katey Sagal. The show explores the inner workings of a motorcycle gang. Now if only we could get a season 3 for The Riches.
