Yesterday my buddy Andy over at Towleroad premiered Chi Chi LaRue's new PSA targeting barebacking in gay porn. Everyone should check it out and really think about what some consider a "victimless crime". Since I started Dudetube I've tried to avoid the numerous bareback amateur videos out there. Honestly I haven't been as discriminating when it comes to professionally produced porn. From here on out Dudetube will not feature any video that contains barebacking.

OK I thought it would be kool to have a Chat Sunday, but I forgot about the Superbowl. So leave your suggestions about when to have it in the comments and I'll update the post with a new time.

You're a moron for doing this. It is every persons choice for wanting to do bareback or not. And most of the people who do bareback porn are already in a committed relationship. And then there are those who practice safe sex, but they love the fantasy of watching bareback porn. How dare you take that fantasy away from people. You may not agree with bareback porn. But it is very popular in the gay porn community. And it is legal. You choosing to take it down just because you yourself are turned off by barebacking is ridiculous. What if I ran a site and I refused to show any fisting, or black people doing it? For someone who runs a gay porn page, you should be open to something that is so popular. You don't have to agree with it. But you should be able to tolerate it. And when you think about it, there are a lot more worse or sickening things done in porn than just barebacking. And barebacking is not sick when you are in a relationship. Barebacking in porn usually don't influence their viewers. It's only a fantasy. A fantasy that you have taken away.

My comment is late... and won't be seen by most, but I too applaud Matt for trying to take a stand. "Barebacking" in gay commercial porn is a HUGE disservice to the gay community. We just don't do a very good job at all of caring about what happens to the community at large... we're (myself included) too self-centered to care.

I think everyone here is missing the point....the trend of barebacking in porn IS extremely irresponsible in today's world. We all would like to think we can make intelligent decisions, but let's face it-many times we don't. I think it's amiable of Chi Chi and everyone else involved to recognize their place and assume the responsibility of creating safe entertainment. Couples get tested and of course don't use condoms when they've been together for a while and can trust each other, but that is a TOTALLY different issue. For all of you that say you won't be visiting this site any longer, you're not making any sense...almost ALL of the videos posted here are of ONE person, and even if there are two, they are rarely REALLY going at it. Nothing is going to noticably change, and I applaud Matt for taking a stand.

Chi Chi is only speaking up because she's not making the money cornering the market anymore with her boring ass videos. She's lost out to the internet with sites like Sean Cody, et al. Its all boring, maybe if producers did something creative and more masculine and not recycled the same themes in every vid, people would watch more. So, instead of boring vids, people choose raw sex, its more interesting. I wish there were more Joe Gage's out there. I mean if I was a porn star, and Chi Chi's gigante tranny drag mess was trying to direct me, I'd hope she was hidden in another room as to not distract my dick. Yawn! Oh yeah and as the other comment said, Chaosmen has barebacking. Get off your high horse.

Major props for your decision.
I don't know if I remember seein' many barebacking vids on your site before, so it's no skin off my back:)
I recently had a scare doin risky stuff but am (EXTREMELY LUCKY to be) HIV negative(I'll check again in 6 months), so people like you and Chi Chi make me wanna be a better boy:)
I don't have HIV, but bare-boning may've given me something else(my slap on the wrist).
Double props. Ciao!

So how are you going to make money to pay for your site, or make a good argument when ChaosMen features bareback videos and you are supporting them by advertising for their site?

I totally respect your choice to not post bareback videos. I don't support them either. Thank you!

I'm sorry, but Chi Chi LaRue telling the PORN INDUSTRY to stop making bareback porn and you not posting supposed bareback amateur videos are two completely different things.
If two people in a relationship decide to get the camera out so they can share themselves having REAL sex, that's just about the hottest thing a person can watch.
Bareback means something completely different to me, something careless and filthy. To group everything together like that...shame on you.
I'll just go straight to XTube instead of coming here anymore.

I'm sorry, but obviously you're the misinformed one here. People bareback all the time...you aren't protecting anyone from anything, you are just promoting censorship. Many couples are regularly tested, and practice unprotected sex monogamously. I shouldn't even say unprotected...it's just sex...real sex. I liked your site, but...sorry it was fun while it lasted, your site will no longer be a daily stop while browsing porn.

It's your blog, and your decision to make, but like choosing to join a branch of law enforcement, or go skydiving, barebacking involves certain risks and it should be left up to the individual as to whether or not to take those risks.
I am in a long-term committed relationship, and I personally have abandoned condoms in my sexual relationship with my partner after ample time (and our both being tested).
You need to ask yourself however if by "hiding" this form of sex from your visitors, are you really helping, or are you doing just as much damage as you would be doing by featuring them? Are you making it more "forbidden", and therefore "exciting"? Are you no better than the car commercials who are dumbing down the world and the everyday risks within it with "Do not try this at home." messages. Who's to say that the individuals in these bareback films you are choosing not to feature are not couples like myself and my boyfriend, committed, exclusive, and smart enough to make educated choices in life.
The answer is not censoring blogs or adult films, it's proper education. But again, those of us with half a brain must suffer because there are those who are unable to comprehend the simplest of concepts.

Hi, I really love your site for a long time but now if don't link anymore real sex videos I won't connect here anymore too. I don't say that it is good not to have safe sex (I think it is really important to protect oneself) but I don't think it is a good thing to ban this sort of videos. Many HIV- couples have sex without condoms and this is not barebacking ! It's the real life and it's not dirty or filthy or a crime or whaterver ! Sorry for my poor english, but I'm french. Respect and long life to you and your site.
